2011 Shooting Stars Event will remember Derek!

We extend our deepest sympathies to the Boogaard family and Derek's teammates during this difficult time. Our hearts are filled with sadness. We have lost a great friend.

Charity event begins Thursday, June 9th. WHL RIDE for the KIDS pedals into Scota Bank on South Albert around 11am. Following their arrival, the WHL Alumni celebrity & Golf Guests will head out to the 5th annual Golf Gala at Deer Valley. $1,500 HAT TRICK corporate packages available for the tournament include golf, transportation & dinner for particiapants & guest.

WHL RIDE FOR THE KIDS, together with the REGINA PATS & Shooting Stars will host RED and BLUE & Bling! Doors open @ 7pm. We hope to see you at the Ramada wearing your blue-jeans and BLING. Tickets are on sale at the Pats office for $100 per person. Great LIVE and silent auction prizes, wonderful food, and amazing entertainment await you! Call 522-5604 to reserve your seat.

Friday June 10th, Stickets on Rose - puck drops at 10 am. Street hockey, autographs, raffles, and bbq lunch. Opening ceremonies at are NOON. Even if you arent' a player, we invite you to come and enjoy the fun as a spectator. The street hockey tournament will wrap up at Fibber McGee's Pub, located in the Ramada Hotel. TEAM ENTRIES are $1,200 (Limit 32 teams).
